Italy is an ideal retirement spot for people looking for diverse landscapes, climates, and rich cultures. Italy has historical significance in Europe and many tourist destinations. It also boasts world-class healthcare and infrastructure. Despite all the amenities it provides, it is an affordable country, especially in the southern parts of it.
The most romantic destination on the list is France. It’s just as hospitable for retirees as it is for tourists. William Schantz highlights that while food is equally expensive in France and USA, the housing options are cheaper in southern France.
Greece is a beautiful and warm Mediterranean country with gorgeous islands. It has a large older population, so that retirees will find great companies and high-quality healthcare. The weather is warm, and utilities are cheap. There is also very little crime, and the world’s best healthcare facilities make it a great spot to land in.
